Well I put in water for the first time. With the words of aquaholic looming in the back of my head "Don't buy it". As I idled through the idle zone and it kept missing and that oh no feeling sank in my stomach because now I own it and the words reverberate "Don't buy it".

So then I changed the now ancient spark plugs and she ran like a charm.
She had 21 hours on it and now 24 hours. It's not over I may still come to regret this purchase but for now I'm liking it.

Took it out in some super choppy chop as a storm brewed up lake and it was like riding on boat. No it's not as nimble as the 15f but at age 52 and how busy the lake has gotten the 15f was almost never fun for me anymore. And since I want to ride with my teenage son this might just be the happy medium. And of course he loves the 15f.

Same set up I had, '07 250 on one side 06 15f on the other... I wish you luck, but I'd find a new mechanic if he didn't pull the plugs while checking it over... You may get lucky... But you do need to do the upgrades at a minimum, or you'll be spending $5K + on a motor rebuild

Pump Parts on backorder. In the meantime I'm up to 29hours. Yall got the fear in me and I watch that freaking hour meter and listen and feel for every little hiccup. None yet

Man I love the hull it rides like being in a cloud even on this holiday weekend craziness.
I basically do most my driving between 20-35mph if I ever find someone with an Ultra LX that wants to trade up I'll make that trade until then it' rides great and goes fast too.

31 hours, I feel good having driven it for 10 of them. I've pulled it home and now waiting for pump parts which are still on back order. Guessing season will be over by the time I get them.

Got the parts "Thanks GreenHulk" and mechanic installed them. I'm back on the water. Up to 33 or 34 hours now. Other bearings looked fine but I feel better with the upgrade done. And my son is enjoying the 15f he inherited.

Rides great maybe the only down side is that it can be a little wet when going through really big waves.
