Make my 96 XP and 97 XP perform like a Spark Trixx

Thinking about drilling a new hole in my VTS nozzle horn IOT allow the VTS motor arm to add several degrees up and down. I'm not sure if the motor will burn up due decreased mechanical advantage.

Trying to make my 96 and 97 XPs act more like a Spark Trixx.

Your VTS control circuitry that's sealed in behind the trim housing detects position and stops the motor. You could probably get more one direction by sacrificing the other, but you can't get both I'm pretty sure. The position rod is going to only go in and out so far, you can't go past that without using something like the TrimFix system that doesn't have limit switches and blowing fuses. It's on a screw and that screw can only go in and out to the limits anyways. So you might be able to rig it so that an up or down reading is actually jet level and the opposite is extra in one direction, but that's about it.
