Let's hear some opinions!! Gp1300 motor build

    Howdy guys
I bought an 03 gp1300 and proceeded to start throwing parts at it. Tray foam, seat cover, grips, free flow, riva intake, d plate, yada yada. Got about 10 hrs before boom, top end gone. Now for the build. Going to end up sleeving all 3 jugs. La sleeve was sold out, anyone tried advanced sleeves out of OH? Bought some wsm pistons, seems like they will do fine for my mostly stock build. Things I need opinions on.
-crank is still in the cases. The side play on big end of the rods is still in service manual specs. Obviously that is all i can check without splitting. Should I be concerned with reusing it or save the 1k$ and run it. Everything spins and feels good.
-Im thinking a clogged injector leaned out the back cylinder and went boom. I'm going to pull them and clean/test. I've read here that crank seals can cause leaning also(makes sense). Can I put the jugs back on pistonless and leak down test?
-Ill reply with a pic of the head. Need some ya or na's on reusing it.
-anyone have a r&d flashed r1 ecu for a gp1300 they want to sell? Bummer I can no longer get one. 4* key and ejk just as good?
    - the black plastic pieces connecting power valve shafts seem to be wore the heck out. My front cylinder valve rotates about 1/2 as much as the back. Where can I get a more sturdy version of these? Or better ideas?

I'm sure I have more but thanks in advance for any replies

You can have the cylinders re-plated instead of using sleeves. As for the PV couplers… waveater makes the parts you need.

Suggestions for who to contact about repair/replate? Seems like the cylinder pictured is damaged past a bore and plate but I'm game to try. Us chrome only works with licensed dealers.

US Chrome is one place to go. The factory cylinders are nikasil plated to make them stronger than the surrounding aluminum. They sometimes can be cleaned up with muriatic acid.

So have you sent them cylinders before? It's boldly stated on the website they only perform work for licensed dealers.
