Question 2007 215, help locating wire for Mechanical Hour Meter (hot while engine is running)

    Hi -
For a 2007 Sea Doo Speedster with twin 215 Rotax.

I have a 2" diameter mechanical hour meter that accepts 6-80 V DC.

I would like to locate a wire that is hot when engine is running. I plan to tap it and run a wire to the dash panel for the hour meter.

Does anyone have any incite into this subject?
    Pictures, Wiring diagram, advise appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Mike

Red face Added Hour Meter on Dash Panel

I ended up adding an inexpensive (18$) 2" diameter hour meter to the dash panel. I took 12V with (Key On) from an unused Purple wire, and ran a ground to the ground block. Works like a champ. I even indexed it to the current hours by leaving it hooked to a battery for a week plus.
