    Tial bov problems.....

I have installed the fiz zle intercooler. The inter cooler came with a tial blow off valve. The ski in the water feels like it wants to fall on its face from 3000 to 4500rpms. Almost like the bov is not closing all the way. I have a dedicated vac line drilled and tapped into the manifold. I've tried 3lb to 11lb spring and get the same problem. Went through and checked all my hoses everything is tight. I even changed the throttle body plate with a billet one. Any help would be appreciated. Click image for larger version.

I dont suspect the bov as the culprit, at 3-4500rpm the ski is not making any real boost, the bov will be open and " venting" at low rpm's. fizzle has been shipping out the tial's with 8lb springs and recommend the 2psi spring on aftermarket wheeled ski's to mitigate compressor surge, but in my experience i prefer the green 2psi regardless in either stock or aftermarket wheel. The issue your describing sounds more like you are over fueled at cruising rpm(are you set up to read afr data?). Or possibly a slight leaky intercooler which wiil contribute to it falling on its face at low revs, then clearing up when you lay into it

I'm not set up to read afr data at the moment. I didn't think to throw the original tune in it to see what it would do. I have a afr gauge and the riva adaptor for the o2 sensor. I'm currently waiting on the extension pipe that goes in it to install it bc I can get my old one out.

I'm unsure of the intercooler leaking. Everything is tight.

So I loaded the stock tune into the ski and took it out for a ride. You were right about the too much fuel in mid range. Ski runs flawlessly now. So now I'm thinking I need a custom tune if I want to go over 8100rpms. I had the 8600 tune with aggressive throttle response and aggressive ignition timing. It dont seem to work with my set up.
