    2006 RXT No Boost

2006 RXT with 137 wheel, Riva tune, Fizzle intercooler, larger injectors, etc. etc. Ran great until today. No boost. Pressurized the system to 15 pounds to check for boost leaks. It largely held, with only very slight bleed off. Removed outlet hose from supercharger and held hand to outlet to check for boost.. Absolutely none. Guessing wheel is not spinning??? Seadoo supercharger rebuild kit fix??

Need to get this running before the 4th of July weekend!

    Thanks

I would say you lost an SC washer and if so you need to pull the SC, see if the washers are gone and if so, your possibly looking at an engine pull and dissassembly to get all the washer bits out.
When was the charger last rebuilt?

Got supercharger out and found the shaft is broken. Looks like engine removal. Ideas what would cause this?

Replied to splishsplash but did not post. User error on my part, I'm sure. Supercharger was rebuilt last summer and had fewer than 20 hours on it.

Does not appear anything was sucked into the supercharger. Compressor wheel has no apparent damage. It spins freely and is not wobbly.

When I lost boost on the water, I just assumed an intercooler hose blew off. The engine ran fine when I drove back to the beach to load up the watercraft.

Ideas what cause the shaft to break? Used Riva (McMaster) spring washers and set slip to 16 pounds.

Removed supercharger cover. I know a little wear on the compressor wheel is normal, but this appears excessive.

Man that sucks for sure. Are you sure that bearing in the rear of the SC is ok, hard to tell from the pic but the balls look all over the place.
Either way, engine has to be pulled to fish all the parts out, the needle bearings, gear, etc. And SC redone again.

Got the PTO cover off and found all the supercharger parts in tact lying the bottom, except for the needle bearings. Found only a few of them.

Pull the oil scavenger pump off the front, you should find your remaining SC parts there.

Check both oil pump gears and housings for damage.

    Bummer for sure.

Pulled scavenger pump this morning. I have found 38 of the bearings so far.
