Gp exhaust flap.
I read somewhere that there is again in removing the flap on the exhaust outlet on the transom.
Is it worth doing, and what are the gains, low, mid etc?
Is it worth me doing, bearing in mind, that if the sea is calm, I don't bother to go out-it's just rough water and waves for me!

I don't know if there are any gains from removing it, but mine has been off since 1998, it sounds better!!

Have one in one out
It would make sense that the signall would change from pressure you might gain or lose 005 rpm.
Loud with it in
Louder and crisper with it out.
