I've been a Yamaha guy ever since my old 300sx days, but dang Kawi really raised the bar with some cool new features you'll likely see the other brands add to their lineups in the future...Kudos to Kawasaki!

    Agree.

Riders looking for a comfy ride will probably find these new-for-2022 Kawasaki 310 models appealing.

Regarding performance, it will be interesting to learn how much these optioned up models will weigh. More weight tends to make the ride smoother over the chop. But typically with less acceleration and speed, and more fuel consumption per mile traveled.

Cruise range … a 25+ US gallon fuel capacity would have allowed a larger cruise distance. I look forward to a time when significantly expanded inboard fuel capacity becomes either an option or standard fitment on one or more brands.

One more US gallon in the 2022 Kawasaki models, does that merely compensate for the added weight (if there is added weight) or is there incrementally more cruise range?

There seems to be quite the list of features I have not encountered on other brands.
    Sliding seat
    Rear camera
Side storage pockets under the handlebars
    Wind deflector over the dash
    And probably several others

I was going by what the poster listed, you couldn't give me a Kawasaki with all thier issues over the years.

    I think they're ugly.

Personally, I don't really care if they have 3-D emblems on them. Or rear view cameras, or a TV screen. Side-mounted storage bins that are hinged on the top? I guess all your stuff falls out when you open them... The adjustable seat may be nice--but I'd prefer one that has a heat shield so your ass doesn't get hot on extended rides. Also, a tow hook under the rear seat--oh wait, they've had that for over 20 years.

You can read about all these features here: https://watercraftzone.com.au/2022-k...ur-mind-blown/

As for me, perhaps I'll be able to find another deal on a good, used 310.

Where have you seen front lights? dual gullwing glovebox storage? rear view camera? hood wind deflector? multiple adjustable seat positions?
