Agreed. I am curious what the dash will be like. Will it trump Yamaha's new 7 inch screen with built in maps?

With less supply and more demand than ever, the incentives to make real performance changes just don't seem to be present unfortunately. If Yamaha or Seadoo had come out with a 320 hp ski, maybe the engine would have been changed.

More than anything however, I hope they have actually sorted out whatever the hell is going on with the ECU / etc that causes the poor part throttle running that seems to effect a significant amount of new 310s (including a friend who recently bought one on my recommendation).

And if they had a $500 or even $1000 option to have it come with proper forged pistons that would be nice too. But like anything shareholder owned, profits for shareholders come before the product, the customers, and the employees.

Having said all that if I was in the market for a new ski it would still be a 310. Unless the new fibreglass Yamaha FX hull really does shine in ocean swell, but I don't think the shape is as suited as the Ultra.

That is what is sounds like. The reverse will be huge for them and hopefully it filters down to other models in 2023. We can all still hope for a STX310 in the future.

I wonder if this TFT display will be what they use. I am hoping for an integrated gps with nautical maps.

Real talk, I would love a high contrast, high resolution, high refresh rate display but in monochromatic. Something easy to read like e-ink but at a refresh rate you can use. I spent some time playing with the sharp memory displays but the size and resolutions are still on the low side for what I want.

Not a fan of using glossy, color, led panels in outdoors stuff. Hell, even the Alpine android auto head unit I use in my truck gets glare off the tan seats if the sun is in the right (wrong) spot...

If they use the tech that's been used for years on color fish finders/nav systems it will be fine. If the right coating is on the glass. My boat color depth/fish/have from humminbird is great even in direct sunlight

I was told that this will come with built in LCD screen & on board camera like all newer automobiles have when you put them in reverse.
