It's actually pretty decent. The cables weren't hooked up to the battery, but it's a 5 minute fix. It connects easily to bluetooth and sounds good up to the 40-50mph range. I didn't really want a PWC with audio, but that's what was already ordered by the dealer, and I'm pleasantly surprised and using it probably 1/3 of the time.

Not sure it's worth $800, but it's nice to have.

When I picked mine up early June, my dealer told me they received 3 calls over the last 2 weeks for a total cancellation of 28 skis that were preordered

Well I guess I technically finally got mine. Was told that the 4 remaining machines (one of which was mine) just didn't have a good date of when they would arrive in the warehouse to be delivered to dealer. Anyway I cancelled that one and paid extra for one that was slightly used. Not a sound financial decision but I have holidays this week and well damnit it's my 40th birthday present to myself. Also may have been a little eager at buying all the matching lifejackets and parts for the dang machine so didn't want to cancel and get a different color scheme on the 2022's. Needless to say, it's done and over with and I'm happy!! Took it out for the first time yesterday (in the rain) and aside from the needle like rain drops its awesome. Crazy how much things have changed since my last ski (2012 gp1300R). Maybe I'll bump into some one the georgian bay this week. All the best!!!!

We were on Georgian Bay waters just a couple of weeks ago.

Tip: A Helmet takes the sting out of the rain
We also have radios in the helmets so we can talk to each other while riding.

Wearing a helmet in a non race situation is questionable. Just had a get off at 85. 2 ribs, punctured lung. Helmet would have killed me. Without a doubt. Wouldn't recommend just to avoid rain. Just my opinion.

Helmets are required gear for PWC racing, even in the fastest classes with high top speeds.

For most recreational riders there are risks with and without helmets. Head impact with your own ski happens, and does not require really high speeds. An unexpected wave or boat wake and suddenly the hood, mirrors or handlebars can be quickly coming towards your face. Or you get bounced off the seat and come down against the gunwhale, with possible head impact.

On long rides a helmet can reduce rider fatigue from wind and noise. A fatigued rider may make a mistake that the same rider in a helmet might not.

Some of the riders in our group now feel uncomfortable when riding without a helmet.
