Wrong battery cause miss fire or poor running?
Hi I took my ski out the other day a gti 130 2006 it was running great but after turning ski off and on a few times it began to miss fire for the first 30 seconds of running and I also had a 12v low error for a few minutes I was wondering if these 2 could be linked I was thinking mybe the stator is under to much load and giving poor signal to the coils. It actually has a small car battery fitted 12v 40a but I think less cold cranking amps. Could the battery be absorbing to much power from the stator? Thanks

Check if the battery is being charged while running, it should read above 13V with motor running.
If not than most likely your voltage regulator is cooked.
