Metal flakes / glitter in oil RXPX 300 engine

RXTX 300 50hours. Bought the ski used and there was a small bit of glitter in the filter housing and a pair of very thin sliver of metal in the pleats. The metal is glitter in size or the size of a piece of sand. When a magnet is introduced they do show to be magnetized. I flushed the oil and still some in there. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Ski runs 69-71mph stock and no issues / you'd never know if you didn't examine the oil. Some of my research says this is actually normal however just want to confirm.

Maybe 40-50 specks if I counted them out total

Normal if flakes are magnetic.

These engines starter gear engages within the oil system so anything that gets knocked off the gears ends up in oil and shortly in the filter.

so i bought it used with 50hrs and noticed the glitter accumulated in the bottom of the oil filter housing. i wiped it with a paper towel to clean it out before flushing with T6 and a new filter. i ran it hard for 4hrs on fresh oil after flushing and say 2 thin slivers in the pleats. the glitter still shows minimal amounts in the bottom of the housing and is almost like a shimmer dust i can wipe out

pulling her out of the water now. the ski is fast and seems healthy as it consistently does 80 on gps and sometimes 81-82 if low gas. thanks for the reassurance that it’s normal for this
