Hi guys
so I'm looking at rebuilding my stator and spares found guys that will rebuild the stator and my impeller as well as some who might have another impeller
i cant seem to find any 6 vane ss stators locally but ill keep looking as some guys are asking $300 with out the impeller and shipping which is a bit crazy once converted to Rands.
been offered a few impellers from a sl 700 ski but I'm sure it will fit but pitch might be way out for the sl1050. guessing a 900 should be the same maybe a sl780
is their place i can see what the no is on the impeller that will work well and what the difference on part no are.
some guy said he will call me today as he has one for me but i don't know off what ski it is yet

so this guy says he fixes a few ski around I'm sure he also just buying the ski that doesn't run for spares. as they don't stay long for sale before they sold
his asking 5k so that's $334.17 for the 5131457 he said he can also re pitch the prop easy but also said its from a 1050 so i don't know $334.17 is very steep for impeller and housing as i missed a pro 785 non runner for 467.84 and a slhx 1050 for the same price with trailers I'm still kicking my self over the pro 785 red and black.
seen 1 or 2 sl 700 for about $450
i can get the impeller rebuilt for $133.67 and balanced so might go that route for now then will keep looking for a donor ski

A 12/17 is way too low of a pitch for a 1050 and pretty sure nearly impossible to repitch to the 14/24. The 12/17 is from a 785 that runs at 7800-8000 rpm, compared to the 97 SL1050 running 6500 rpm.
Having your impeller repaired sounds to be THE CORRECT solution.
Considering the engineers that designed/built 97 SL1050 choose that impeller and no other Polaris used it. Changing to another impeller will change performance at one end or the other, with negative effect at opposite end.
