    2019 FX SVHO Tune?

Any benefit to a tune on an otherwise stock machine? And yet not risk warranty?

If you want some more mph then yes. Will it void warranty yes and no. It will depend on what the issue you have and the dealer.

As for tunes I recommend Dean's teams reflashes. You could also get a maptuner. All in a I would tune it if your thinking about it

How much more speed and do you know the $ to do it? Warranty still happy or at risk?

For the money you probably wont beat a speed limiter delete from Dean's $250 and should be good for 75mph. if you decide to upgrade later to a tune you can apply that. Cant go wrong with starting here if you're worried about going too far. If you do a scom you're out that money to a tune. Tunes are $550 I believe.

Hey man, can you tell me more? What’s involved? Do I need a new ride plate? Warranty killer?

You can get the maptuner x and run a stage 1 plus tune limited to 8000 rpm. Yamaha will never know you had a tune with this tune installed. Will give you better acceleration and top speed. My GP would run 78 on this tune so the fx would be a little slower. The ride plate is a big improvement too. None of these things will mess with the warranty. With maptuner you can flash back to stock if you ever have to take the ski in for warranty. As long as nothing over 8000 rpm shows up in the history you’ll be fine.

Great! What’s the investment? Sorry for the dumb questions.

looks like they are about $1000. Does that include all the tunes? Or do you pay for them separately?

Kit price includes the MapTunerX device, the necessary cables plus a single tune license.

The license includes every Riva tune available for that model/engine and you can jump back and forth between tunes as many times as you like.

Takes only a few minutes to load a different tune. Tune can even be programmed while on the water.

The tune gets locked to the ECU serial number

Check for the Greenhulk discount, I forget whether it applies to the Riva Kit.

The different SVHO kit dates have to do with Yamaha changing the ECU connector for 2018 onwards.
