Mines a stock machine with the stage 1 tune. Ski feels good! very nice middrange, for someone who modded the hell out of a Sho and had a 1 plus Gp prior, this is enough for me, you'll defo enjoy it

you can do the MaptunerX bone stock 8000 tune or stage 1 8000 tune and it can’t be detected by the dealer. This is what you need https://www.4-tecperformance.com/ind...oducts_id=4250

These question have been answered many times for the Riva MaptunerX product.
The kit includes the device/box used to install the tunes, the Windows app used to select the tunes and transfer them to the box, and a license to use ALL the tunes available for your engine.
You can install, switch, and reinstall any of the tunes as often as you wish. Changing the installed tune takes minutes.
Bone stock means the factory tune, but with factory speed limiter removed.
Stage 1 typically means a Riva tune configured to produce more power and speed without changing any of the engine hardware, just the tune.
Stage 1 Plus tune requires certain engine upgrades.
Stage 2 tune requires further hardware upgrades, and so on.

Stock 8000 tune removes speed limiter so probably max ~70-71 mph.
Stage 1 8000 I assume makes adjustments to fueling and timing probably pick up another one, maybe two mph so ~71-72 maybe 73 mph.
Dealers can see run time over 8000 rpms so keep below that if worried about warranty. The superchargers boost more the higher the rpms so spinning higher gives more power. Riva claims Stage 1 8300 rpm at 75 and this is with their ride plate.
Its been reported the new FX gets loose in the low 70's and handling greatly improves with cutting the plate by Jim's performance or Dean's team. The stock plate from previous model FX is thicker and so can cut deeper skegs and improved angle and seems to be the way to go for max performance. Riva's plate is extended and has been reported to cause porpousing in some cases.
Good luck, please report back what speeds you get.Last edited by Luke Kamp; 02-27-2021 at 08:17 PM.

Here's a good list of all the tunes for our SVHO's. Includes required mods, suggested mods as well as fuel requirements. I found this list more helpful than the Riva pages as they show only 8000 tune for the 2020 FX. This seems to be a more complete list. By no means am I suggesting these are all the tunes that are available, just a very nice list with lots of info.
Keep in mind, those required mods are there for a reason. Running these tunes without these requirements is a recipe for disaster. A lean motor might run fast, but for how long is the question.

Confirm whatever the web page says with the notes in the actual tune as loaded into the MaptunerX device.
91 octane with a stage 2 AGR tune seems potentially contradictory.
