I'm going with Seadoo quicker, Yamaha faster on the top end.
Full disclosure, you couldn't give me a GP1800...well that's a bit extreme...you could give me one.

I'll agree with you on both statements, but the RXP will always be quicker, the GP will only be faster with mods.
With the additional hull in the water, I would expect the GP to be faster with just the speed limiter removed, although the numbers already published by Greg don't necessarily show that. We shall see soon.

I just got about 6 hours on mt 21PX and have some results to share. I love this new ski.The handling rocks like my 216 PX300 did. ECU was limited until I got 2.2 hours on it and then I was hitting 8k RPM before the speed limiter kicked in. I like to vary my RPM during the first 5 hours including some hard launch's. I put 2.9 hours on it Tuesday and 2.6 on Wednesday. I flashed the ski Wednesday morning before I Launched. Here is what I have so far
57 degree water 75 degree air about 500 ft elevation. Colorado river Parker strip AZ
3 Bars fuel.
255 lb rider
Bone stock Riva flash only. Stock air intake prop etc. No added ventilation
Top speed 77-78MPH on factory dash. Will take some readings from GPS phone app next time.
.4 to .5 MPH water current.
RPM 8200
I am very happy with the initial results. I will add the following
4" rear air with 4 - 2" ventilation holes covered with frogskinz
Gut out flame arrester from intake manifold.
Stage two Flash.
I may add a Solas SXX 13/18 for comparison soon.
Stay Tuned!

8200 rpm at 77-78, how much fuel onboard?
I was seeing 76 at 8040 on the demo ski I road so that's probably about right.
