2021 GP 1800 transom plate

Does anyone know if the 2021 transom plate is available yet or when it will be available?

Has anyone actually measured one to compare it to the 2020 and earlier version?

Im thinking this could be a worthwhile upgrade to do assuming it would work with my existing 2017 pump

Part Numer is different on the new 2021 Plate, so yes a new Plate.
I read something online that they are on back Order for the end of this month...but maybe it takes longer at the ende....

The 21 model I saw pics of was the same old crap as the 20 boats

Referencing the part numbers ... looks like both the "Model Code" changed AND the "Design Change Revision" changed for the 2021 part.
Design Change Revision, say incrementing from 01 ==> 02 don't yield major changes if the they still share the same 5-digit Design Code - and this is indeed the case. HOWEVER, the Model Code change often means a significant change is in-play, and that could mean the two are not interchangeable OR it could mean they still are ... depends on what changed.
Eventually, we're gonna need someone to pull both parts and compare them side-by-side on a bench to know for certain.

i spoke to riva as well to jerry..both confirmed me that the new plate is change but just on the GP not on the FX ! You see that at the Part numer as well.

But anyway the part is on back order and i gues they will extend the date. a lot yamaha parts which i ordert in the last time were on backorder...
i just ordert just a yamaha nozzle and the deliverytime was 2.5 month...

if the part numbers on the rest of the pump remained the same from the 2020 models then I would think it’s compatible

well I guess that solves that problem. No need to buy a different part.

Exactly... the part number Model change could be related to a hull change. The 2021 hull might have changes that warranted the plate be changed as well.
Again, anyone willing to put both parts side-by-side so we can stop speculating?

ok then the question is why so many people tell that BS that the plate is 160mm
