Wire it to a switch directly to the battery. If you do it this way the sensor will last since you can switch it on to warm up before the engine starts and when the engine stops You can keep it on for a few seconds to stay heated to get rid of the moisture.

I was also thinking of wiring it to the bilge pump. The bilge pump usually stays on with the engine off for about 30seconds.
Any thoughts ?

Mine is wired to the gauge cluster. come on with start and stays on like bilge pump. 30 seconds or so.
The warming it up thing people talk about but in cars, this is not a issue, you start car, and wideband heats while its running.. not sure why it would need to heat before. Granted wet exhaust sucks on sensors.

Mine is wired to my bilge pump, 1/2 way thru after unlocking with the remote I hit the remote unlock again which continues the cycle another 30 seconds and allows the O2 to heat up. My fuel pump is on a separate circuit if that may concern you, if I remember correctly fuel pump and bilge on the same circuit, not sure, it's been awhile
