    Recently acquired Matrix

    I recently acquired a 2003 Polaris Matrix. Hull ID PLE25288A303. It has UMI steering, and BP Sponsons It’s a little beat up but not terrible.

    Guy told me a cylinder was down so I was able to get it for a great price. It has 183 hours on it. I pulled the head off to see the damage and this is what it looked like.     I sent a picture out to Millennium Tech and they said they couldn’t repair it. Does anyone on here know of another shop that might want to try this repair? Is there a chance that there is another head somewhere? Just really looking for options and ideas.

    Doesn't it have 3 removable heads in the one piece cover ?

    No it’s a one piece head. The domes are not removable.

    You're acquiring quite the collection.

    Sorry., I have no help for the head issue. Seems odd it's a single piece unit though?

    That boat has an interesting history. Started out life in Alabama. Looks like it was a buy-back. That's probably how it became a Matrix.

    Has had a stator replaced, TPS, coils, water temp sensor, engine harness, flywheel, and a lot of labor.

    Well, at least the TPS probably isn't an issue now
