RXP 300 - Adding Cam to Stage 2 Plus setup? (Stock Charger)

Hi all,

I had been considering the ET135 wheel for my 300, however after hearing about some people having issues with vibrations or compressor surge on partial throttle I'd much rather stick with the stock charger.

So with that in mind I was thinking about adding the Riva cam to my Stage 2 Plus 8650 setup I'm currently running and retaining the stock charger wheel. Has anyone done this on their ski? Looking for some feedback on adding the cam in terms of performance gains?

Cam is the next best thing after more boost. It should be good for 2-3 mph on the top end.

That would be ideal if picked up 2-3 up top, that alone would be worth it, have you found the cams make a noticeable improvement in acceleration aswell? Heard a few people say it really wakes up the motor?

That's a little hard to test but usually your butt dyno is happier all around

i installed a eastside powersports cam in gtx, and it was night and day in performance from idle to wot, highly recommend,

accoriding to the riva/maptunes specs you need bigger injectors and map to run the riva racing cam... same thing with the eastside cam ?

yes, you at least need a tune, might get away with stock injectors, think some more experienced members can answer that better,

For Stage 2 plus cam there is 2 options:

- Run VT11 injectors
- Run fuel pressure regulator at 65psi

There is a tune for each setup.

We will work in a new tune base on the 2021 software that might allow to run the CAM with stock injectors and stock fuel pressure regulator, but it will take some time yet.
