Will that require a new shaft as well? I see a lot of performance parts for the FZS do not fit the 2020 GP and they usually state that you will need a new shaft or vice versa?

You will transfer your existing shaft into the new pump.
You can run your existing engine cooling kit, but will need to upgrade to this 2020 pump strainer

My biller pump strainer looks very similar to that image above. It connects off my pump and into a thru hole fitting I have drilled in the hull near the exhaust housing
