2021 rxpx maptuner tune

How much of a performance difference can you expect from riva maptuner x bone stock 8300 rpm tune compared to the 8300 rpm tune with a air intake. Will be running stock prop and pitch as well, No others mods. Thanks.

Riva says 80 mph @ 8300, that's with tune + air intake. Without the intake?

What does the bone stock 8300 do besides removing the speed limiter? Does it change fuel and ignition mapping?

Removes the Torque limiters as well.

I saw 75-76 dash on the demo ski I road with almost a full tank at 8040RPM.

Intake is worth about 100RPM at stockish power levels.

Low fuel, right conditions I could see 80dash (not 80GPS)

I know what a torque limiter does on turbine aircraft engines, but how does it work on our 300s? Is there actually a sensor or is it algorithmic? I have never felt a reduction in power on my 300 except the MPH speed limiter. Where would you see the advantage of removing the torque limiter?

With good air, I see 8060 on my tach. I have never felt the rev limiter kick in while hooked up. What is the point of raising the limiter to 8300? Simply to keep it from kicking in as early on short pump unhooking and having to recover the power curve?

8060 is the rev limiter, doesn't matter what you do. Until you flash it, it's not going past the 8060 rev limiter. That being said there is no guarantee you'll hit 8300 rpm, that is going depend on various factors.
