    Magneto Alignment - 2004 Sea-Doo XP DI

    Hey guys,

    Long story short, I rebuilt my 2004 - 951 XP DI engine, complete rebuild, bored out the cylinders, new heads, cleaned every bolt and tightened everything to spec and put it back together. I haven't been able to get the ski running, due to low air pressure going to the fuel rail, therefore only the engine turns over with a backfire.

    I have figured out I am only getting approx. 30 PSI of fuel pressure and my engine requires 130 PSI.

    What I am trying to figure out now, is whether a corroded stator could affect my engine from running. When my engine was originally pulled apart, the stator was submerged in water and heavily corroded to the point where I was chipping corrosion off of the stator. It is one of the only parts I haven't changed in this engine rebuild. See picture below for the cleaned up picture of the stator.

    Any information would be appreciated.

    What code are you getting with the maint light?

    It was just some sensor that I forgot to plug in and is now cleared.

    Also the rave valves were fixed after this video.
