Post Number 64. I built one of these without the wheels. It has been outside on the edge of the woods in my yard about five years with a FXHO hull on it with no problems. I used treated 2 x 4's.

Not sure if this is “on the mark” or not but, I had a similar issue in that our skis are stored off season in a pretty nice climate controlled secure facility where each owner has a 10’ x 20’ or even 30’ long “parking space” to put their toys; however; I wanted to make 100% sure my skis didn’t get moved (since doing so is extremely easy as I used 5” casters on all my DIY “bombproof” carts) so, once where I wanted them, I simply used a floor Jack to lift each end of the cart up onto a prsr trtd 6x6 laid width wise. Works like a charm!
