Problem Fixed- Needed new plugs
Hey Jebbers - just thought I’d let you know my issue has been resolved. After performing a service and goin over the ski pretty throughly it just needed a new set of plugs. They were very badly fouled ( Black as night and lots of carbon build up). My model ski runs pretty rich and it had been 2 years since I’d done plugs change - I’m back to about 7400- 7500 rpm and top speed of 112. Hopefully it’s just plus for you to mate!

I'm amazed at how often a simple spark plug change seems to fix these 4-stroke Yamahas.
Jebbers, did you ever get around to changing your ski's spark plugs?
