Is this the Maptuner X that I want/need?

I just want to make absolutely sure that this is what I want to buy. For now, I'd like to just remove the rev limiter off of my 2019 GP1800R and get speeds in the mid 70s with no other modifications. I think this is what I want:

I'd like to take advantage of the Christmas sale going on and save some money on this thing.

It is much cheaper to mail your ecu to Dean's team to have that removed....$160 plus shipping.

    Good luck.

Will you planning further upgrades as time goes on?

That is one advantage to the Riva MaptunerX system, you can switch and upgrade tunes as often as you like. Compare tunes, try with different octane gasoline, and so on. All baked into the single price MaptunerX licence.

Hmmmm. I really don't want to have to send away my ecu but that's a lot less money.

Right now I'm not planning on any mods. Once I get beat by someone with mods and I may want to start modding! I have 93 octane fuel available.

If I'm not mistaken, I can do all the tuning I want with the Maptuner X to one ski. If my next door neighbor who also owns a 2019 GP1800R wanted to tune his ski, he could use my Maptuner X hardware but he'd have to purchase another license, correct?

Yes. The same MaptunerX box can be used with many Riva tune licenses for many ECU serial numbers.

One tune licence needed per ECU.

The tune licence for a given ECU can also be moved to another MaptunerX box if someone decided to buy their own box later on.

Just call or email them and schedule it. They have a good turn around on reflash. its only a few 10mm bolts to remove and I usually see turnaround from them in a week.

Something to think about is if you install the big riva or fizzle intercooler you will need to flash to stage 2 or risk leaning out the motor too much....with the Maptuner you can just plug it in and tune at your location, nothing against Dean , his flashes /tunes and props are legendary , but you can take the Maptuner to the lake with you and try several tunes while your there. Now if you can get Dean to go to the lake with you and tune please don't tell us as we will all get jealous !

If you take your ski down to him..
He will custom tune it and test it for you!

They do it all the time!
