Jetskiing from CT to Fl (1239 miles)
Thought you guys might be interested. We did the trip at the end of June this year. It took 4.5 days and we did not have a chase vehicle with trailers so had a find a place to tie off and sleep each night. Each ski was carrying around 48 gallons of gas. Here is the video I made of the trip.

How many engine hours did you log? Did you have any breakdowns? Would you do it again?

Guy,
Really enjoyed the video, wonderful editing. I kept waiting for you to lose your fuel cans during the rough water runs! Your GPS program was awesome.

Very cool...I would've seen you go by if I was watching when you went over the St Johns River/ICW intersection.

It was nearly 60 engine hours and 230 gallons of gas for each ski. I would definitely do the trip again. No breakdowns as we used skis that had stock SC and also put the stock tune back on ECU so that learning keys worked properly to reduce rev limit with cruise control. It was 2 years in the planning for gas can strapping and weather windows. My brother in-law wants to go the other way from FL to CT but I'm concerned as the ocean part is between CT and Norfolk VA. You cannot do hundreds of miles daily in 3 - 5 ft seas so forecast needs to be dead nuts for this leg.
