Anyone have a 2017 or newer Kawi SXR 1500 standup? Thoughts and opinions?
I am looking at picking one up fr 4500 with no trailer and have always loved standups and have had numerous Superjets in the past. Does anyone have one? What are your thoughts and opinions? Any real problems or weak spots on this ski? What do you think about the deal at $4500? Original owner and freshwater ski.

There have been several reviews of it here. I have not ridden one myself, so I can't give an informed opinion. However, I've seen several of the on Craigslist with a much higher asking price. I'd jump on it!

that is kind of what I am thinking, try it out and if I hate it I can get my money back out of it.

Looking at Craigslist, I see a 2017 for $8000 in Stillwater, OK (with trailer).
A 2018 for $8000 in Dallas, no trailer.
A 2019 for $9200 in Sulphur Springs, TX that has 4 hours on it, no trailer.
A 2018 for $8600 in Kingswood, TX that has 45 hours on it.
There is a stock 2008 SX-R 800 in Austin for $5000, just to put things into perspective. Also in Austin, a stock 2007 SX-R 800 for $4000.
I say BUY IT!!!

Steve's onto something. Doesn't seem right at all. Make sure he's got a title, but that number "4,500" is a standard Craigslist scammer number. Get the VIN and check status with your state DMV. Cover yourself, cover yourself, cover yourself. Inspect the bottom of the hull, etc .
SXR-1500's are great skiis...real fun, but they don't come out of the water too good (heavy). Awesome boats though. I love mine to death. If you buy it @ 4.5K and it's a real deal, put about $2K into parts to get it perfect: Maptune, sponsors, ride plate, scoop grate (all TBM racing), Jettrim mats, Intake, and if you've got money left: handle pole.
What state are you in Gray?

Awesome ski. Great for buoy carving etc. More on the heavy side for wave jumping but for overall workout, great handling and speed you cant beat it. I have a build thread on here on what I did to mine.
