Anyone modify the 2021 GP1800 yet?
I was thinking of getting a 2021 GP1800r has anyone done a stage 3 kit on one yet?
I was wondering what type of speeds your getting out of it?
Same as the 2018-2020?Last edited by K447; 12-01-2020 at 09:12 AM.

I just hit 10 hrs on mine and I don't plan to mod it any time soon, its quick enough as it is right now. I think not enough have hit the water yet for any serious modding. Jerry just got his recently and will be modding it but it's too soon. I recall another member that was having Riva do a stage 1 but haven't heard anything else on it.

I run a Stage3 on a 2017 GP1800, same hull and SVHO engine platform so I would expect the same results on the 2021.
I run the ET17 wheel and custom tune from Jesus.
Acceleration is a huge difference, top speed will be dependent on how you set it up and conditions you ride in. Lots of variables.

Does buffing out the paint and applying a ceramic coat considered modifying 🏁. I posted a short video on my YouTube page FERONESKI. Check it out.
I’m enjoying riding the ski stock right now but I’ll be throwing some goodies at it in the spring. Right now I’m doing my own pump plug kit for the stock intake grate. They have a small little plug kit that comes stock with it. You actually have to take the ride plate off before you take the intake grate off. I’m surprised Yamaha did this because it would’ve been so simple to just make the plug kit bigger. I’ll post some pictures this weekend when it’s done. I use something called mold max 60 and have had good success with it in the past.

When reinstalling, pay attention to the sealing in the red circled areas.
Sometimes there are small air gaps between the hull itself and the ride plate front edge. And the ‘corners’ of the pump tunnel.

Yes it is. IP 66 rated. The Holley digital dash is also “weather proof”....
