Why use a large 50mm POV (pop-off valve) instead of ~30mm?
I think on a PWC a 50mm pop-off valve is way over kill for a small cubic inch engine a 30mm would be plenty.
A 50mm is a common size to see on a full size car engine.
The question is way is the Tial 50mm pushed so hard and why is no one talking about using a smaller pop-off valve?Last edited by K447; 11-27-2020 at 10:08 PM.

Might be the same logic as putting racing air filters on a 2003 Civic. People want to put some "go-faster" parts on their PWC, but have no actual idea how the engine works and go with whatever.
