Video: Easy Guide PWC Trailer Docking System
Those of us with a few years of experience under our belts have trained ourselves not to launch our trailers too deep in the water because your ski will tend to float away if the hull isn’t making contact with the bunks. It’s a pretty common occurrence. Unfortunately, the consequence of this is often having to throttle into and up your bunks to properly dock your ski before winching it the rest of the way up, resulting in stressed, worn and even broken bunks.

Is learning how to recover your ski THAT difficult?
This is nothing more than training wheels for your trailer.
And $400???
Here...I'll save you the money.
Back your trailer until about half of the bunks are submerged. The exposed bunks will guide you on.
That'll be $100 consulting fee please.

Understand that throttling your ski up exposed bunks stresses the wood bunks (or worse, roller bearings), and wears down both the carpet and your hull's finish.
This saves both your hull's finish, your bunks and carpet. It also literally guides the ski center over the bunks (which having been to SO MANY group rides, I know first hand that most of you still DON'T know how to do right), and keeps a ski from floating away with the current.
And if all I've said doesn't make any sense to you then don't buy it.
