Rxp-x300rs xxx
Hi all.
Just wondering your experience about FPR on tune. I know its recomended to fit 4 bar regulator with vt1100. but anyone wo tested it without it?
After my sc bearing in 300 failed few months after warranty I've decided to mod it well.
What Im doing is:
- SC 142+3 wheel
- light flywheel
- IMUK THX to Greenhulk
- VT1100 Thx to Greenhulk
- Titanium retainers
- riva map
- solas sxx 13-18 with stainless wear ring
- AFR
- and few other small addons.
and now just wondering if I should try it without 4bar regulator. What would be a difference. I had a plan to install it in a middle of the season to compare and write a feelings about that.
Did anyone try that?
any info appreciated.
regards Jarek

I wouldn't recommend putting the 13/18 in a stainless ring. They stretch to much. Also they just aren't as reliable as the stock prop. My 13/18 sheared a blade off just cruising at 7k. Unless you are in area chewing up rings...I wouldn't use the ring either. Once they go in they never come out and they burn up the edges of the impellers. I'd recommend following the exact parts requirements the Riva map was made for.

Actually Riva forced me to fit 13/18. I wanted to keep stock. stainless - only because its locally available. Getting stuff from overseas is pain in the axx. And customs holds packages without a reason for weeeeeeks. Last package from GH came to IE nearly 3 weeks ago and i received it today. its Sick
I bear in mind your suggestion about stainless.

Its not about keeping stock impeller. Problem was stock is 159mm and sxx 13/18 is 161mm. I already removed stock ring and waiting for 161 one to fit it with sxx

Strange with this impeller. But I got it with 25h so its possible it was replaced. But hard to imagine.
About fuel -european 95 octanes. Ireland doesnt sell any other.

EU 95 octane will not fly with that charger, that's only 91 in north america. If that's all you can get you should probably go with the 135 wheel.
If you're dead set on running that charger you'll need to log with a lot of ignition timing removed, say 10 degrees, and slowly raise it to see where knock kicks in then back out 2-3 degrees.
