Want to install 05`215 motor into 08`215 Hull

I Have a Good running 2005 RXT-215 with Bad/Damaged Hull, Found a 2008/9 RXT-215 Barley Running Doo, Can i just sawp in my 05`Motor into 2008 or a list of what parts i must change out, What do you guys think? Thanks again in advance for any help. All suggestions are appreciated!

Should work fine with minor differences such as electrical connections. I would suggest trying to figure out what 08 issues are, such as leaking IC. You can get both 05 and 08 electrical diagrams and look for any differences.

swap out everything from the 05 to the 08 hull, but use the drive shaft from the 08 and the exhaust. It takes remounting MPEM holder and a little engineering for the gauge cluster mounting but it works perfect.

just run the electronics from the 08. This is an easy task, you will need to drill a hold in the encoder wheel and clock it two positions back, drill a 1/2" hole above the balance shaft. Use the breather from the end of the 08 cam as well as oil pumps and valve cover. This is old news and should have popped up in a forum search.

If you end up keeping the 08 stuff, any chance youd want to sell that 2005 MPEM
