    Free Slx Project

    Moments before work i was surfing facebook market place and seen this 2000 slx 1200 on the trailer and the add said free....i messaged him and said how much, and he said free the motor is blown. So i dropped what i was doing and rushed to go get it.....so here it is, i will tear into it tomorrow but i think the motor is a total loss but still a great score. I actually just sold my 2000 slx a month ago....i will keep this updated with progress as we move forward.

    What happened to the cooling rail... LOL that ain't right. Nice score though at least the hull looks clean, especially for being free.

    I’ll guess,hydro locked front cylinder,broke flanges off jug when it lifted up and snapped water rail too

    close im not entirely sure..jugs not broke ....looks like crank and 1 piston, maybe jug...not sure how only one rod had water damage
