Gp1200r plug diagnosis
I finally got my ski out for the first time after a full rebuild. The ski runs great for the most part but I am getting some hesitation off idle. Sometimes I have to feather it just a bit then runs great. After about 20 mins of riding I pulled the plugs and seem like they are 3 different colors. Can anybody tell me what these plugs mean?

What are your carb settings?
Usually, the plugs look similar. Kinda looks like you have one lean cylinder.
Did you do a plug chop, or pull plugs after riding 20 minutes?

Ok, so you never installed t handles on the high and low speed adjusters? These skis are known to run lean from factory.

No I have not, but I will if necessary. What would explain one cylinder being lean.

Here is some information off the “How to” section.

But you need to remove the tamper proof caps to install t handles.

The white plug is way too lean. You MUST richen it or you'll burn up that cylinder very quickly.
I really don't like the gray plug. That cylinder may be having a meltdown. Gray deposits often mean metal is coming off the piston. I would do a compression test before riding it again.

The middle plugs looks more gray in the picture but it is black from being too rich. I am gonna take the carbs back out and do the recipe. Anyone have the the info on the fuel to return mod?
