    2021 GP1800R Engine Access Question

Apologies if this has already been asked and answered (I read through most of the posts and just didn't see it answered)

How is the 2021 GP1800R engine access?

I noticed the engine bay has a support piece connecting both sides down the middle, is this a removable piece? How does the engine access room compare to previous model years that seemed to have a tone of space to move around the engine bay?

My understanding is that the seat base section is now removable. With the seat lifted and the seat base unbolted there is more engine access that the pre-2021 model.

... The upper half of the WaveRunner is now a two-piece, employing a plastic secondary deck panel – similar to those first used on the EX WaveRunners. When removed, the near entirety of the engine compartment is exposed, making access to the supercharged and intercooled SVHO engine and exhaust system demonstrably easier.

Tip: GPR is often used to refer to the older 2-stroke GP1200R and GP1300R models, IIRC.

For the GP1800R, I use the full model name. Makes searching for specific info easier, especially for other people and sometime later.
