Rotax 1503 2010 Oil Filter Cover Question

Just completed my 2nd oil change and the gaskets for this kit are orange and not black like the last one. Is it normal to see the thin gasket where it mates with the top of the oil filter canister or should it seated all the way inside? The last gasket was black so could not tell. I have run the motor an no leaks, but I wanted to be 100% sure that this gasket is supposed to be seen as it seals between the cap and canister.

TY in advance for any help.

O-rings, not gaskets and that is perfectly normal.
