What's a good price for one in New Zealand?

I have an opportunity to buy my bosses 2005 RXP with only 32 hours on the clock, the only issue is its been sitting inside for 5-6 years.

We have just replaced the fuel, oil and battery and its starts and idles perfectly.

I have read forums about the Impeller, SC Washers and Exhaust Valves all failing, should I be worried/ replace these parts? or should I steer clear of the ski altogether?

What's a good price for one in New Zealand? as we do not have any listed on ebay/trade me...

Actually, he didn't answer his own questions so I will. Yes be worried about the SC washers & valves but if you are up to addressing those issues & the ski is nice & priced right go for it. If it was used in salt you may want to leave it be. Plan on doing a carbon seal while you're at it. Be prepared for other small issues that can pop up with a ski that age. If working on these machines is a no go for you then buy a new one. I have a 08 RXTX & 06 GTX & both have been great machines. RR

New Zealand is just so expensive to have these issues address at a Seadoo Dealer, I was quoted NZD $1000 for the SC Rebuild, $2500 for the Exhaust Value replacements. It all just adds up, unless of course you can either do it yourself, or you know a guy! At this rate, I would need to buy the Ski for like $5K.

Not sure what impeller fail your refering to, don't know that one.
What you need to change are the valves, SC washers (a full rebuild of the SC is in order even at 32 hrs)
Flywheel bolts too.
At that age, new carbon ring/hat and bellows are in order as the bellows is old and probably hard.

If it was a salt water machine, and you want to buy it, pressure test the intercooler for leaks.

Also, take a good look at the hull, they can have delamination issues if they have been beached or handled roughly on a trailer

I've seen a few skis go the shits with less then 50 hours on them.. Unless you can test at best to see its condition, number of hours says nothing
