Curious, What are these indents on the charger?

    Just curious more than anything

Does anyone know what the indents are on each blade of the supercharger?

Just never seen them before, pics is from a brand new 300

My guess would be they are doing some kind of ultrasonic blade balance to prevent vibrations in the metal at high speed and high loads.
Thats just a guess but can't think what else they would be for.
Each blade vibrates at a differnt rate , thus the different marks creating a differnt stiffness profile for each one.

Or rotax slipped up and forgot to clean of marks from the making of the blade (likely) Can't imagine having those on the blades would be good for air flow

I believe those are just fins on the wheel that start at mid point of the wheel and grow larger towards the outer edge. You're just seeing the very tips of them, they're larger under the housing.
