FX svho or gtx 230
Hi
About to buy a supercharged Jetski for playing but also going in open choppy waters.
im torn between the FX SVHO and the GTX 230. Both got plenty of grunt for me. Will be cruising alot of the time but like having the supercharged acceleration on tap. I like how you can get all sorts of accessories for the gtx but I like the big storage amount of the FX SVHO.
which is the better of the two? Which would be the better ski?Last edited by Itisme; 09-18-2020 at 02:15 AM. Reason: Spelling errors

Are you going to be buying new, current model year?
Yamaha changed the FX hull in 2019, and the newer hull is getting negative comments about frequent water splash coming over the bow in non-smooth water. Aftermarket ride plate apparently does help somewhat, but is not a complete win.
If you have the option, you may prefer the 2018 and older FX hull for rough water riding.
Why do you care about the amount of storage? Will you be carrying a lot of gear?
I suggest you find some way to test ride each of these hulls, preferably in the water conditions you expect to often ride in.
Will you be traveling far offshore? Riding with another ski or alone?
