    Good enough.
That blue sticker has the part number. https://parts.polarisind.com/Advance...ncedSearch.asp

They are the stock 40mm, no accell pump, 2 jet carbs.
Looks like the stock intake and reed valves. Reed valves are typically one of the first performance modifications.

ok so not sure what happened to my post if it was moved or del.

i eventually got to test my ski yesterday and not to happy with it.

when i pulled off it takes a while to plane but then it seems ok revs up and can get a top speed of 40 to 50 km/h on choppy water but then after 3 min or so i slow down to dock and it eventually stalls and will not start.

i did the orange jumper on it when i was restoring the ski so that i don't have this issue i couldn't pull the plugs to see if their was spark as it was but low of the jetty and the ski would tip over.

it eventually starts after about 10 min or more trying to start it and needing the choke then smokes like hell splutters a bit and not to happy idling when warm

will this issue be carbs or from the stator as the prev owner advised when it was warm and you killed the engine it wouldn't start so i did the jumper for that

no warning lights come on at all to advise over heating so I'm guessing carbs need a clean ill pull plugs later to see what they look like after about 10 min in total drive time then had to tow it.

mfd says km/p h so is 50km/h vs 50mp/h will be a huge diff

will this be stator or carb or electrical

    thanks

Check cylinder compression. Throttle wide open, all spark plugs out.

Any time the engine is not running well and it is 'forced' to contiunue to run at wide open throttle there is risk of (lean burn) melting a piston.

think I might have found the issue the exhaust pipe was leaking so it was smoking under the seat just not sure how much but a puff or so, so im guessing this would also kill the motor as its not getting air.

it started within 3 seconds with no choke and seat off and I didn't charge battery which I've now put on charge.

guess ill try the ski again at the dam and see if its ok before I pull carbs
