    Trim cable

I have a GP1200r and my trim lever doesn’t move. I’m assuming trim cable needs to be replaced. Has anyone does this before? How difficult is it to swap out?

The trim cable mounts to a union on the port side of the ski, next to the front storage bucket. I’d remove the cable from the control and see if you can move the trim mechanism by hand.

Also, the setup on your ski isn’t designed to be used while under heavy load, in case you did t know.

Thanks for response. I will try what you said. Basically disconnecting cable from “wheel” and moving by hand? How do these cables “go bad”? And yes I was aware about trim not working under load. Thanks again for response

If not lubricated regularly, they will corrode inside and lock up.
