    Check Engine light

    I recently had to jump start my ski and the check engine light came on with the alarm and also rev limit mode. I have already disconnected the battery for more then 10mins and started it up again and still the same issue, the jet ski runs fine and sounds fine, anyone got any ideas on how to fix this issue??

    Its a 2009 yamaha waverunner svho and its run fine before and just recently the battery died because we didnt take it out for a while.

    SHO model, correct?
    FX or FZR?

    Was the battery replaced with a new battery?

    Battery cable ends clean and tight?

    The battery wasnt replaced and the cables were clean and tight. The engine light and the rev limit mode still comes on.
