I had the pleasure of attending the Sea Doo press introduction of the all new RXP-X 300 today and wanted to share the news with you.

This is a completely new design and is a whopping 67 pounds lighter than the previous RXP-X. That weight loss translates into better handling and better acceleration due to a much improved power to weight ratio. In fact, the previous model would do 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, this new one accelerates to 60 in just 3.6 seconds. It accelerates to 50 mph in less than 3 seconds.

The improvement in power to weight ratio is certainly noticeable. This newly designed ski is a rocket ship and the improvement in handling is profound. It’s worth noting that this new ski slices through chop providing for an ultra smooth and dry ride and carves high speed turns with precision giving the rider confidence while blasting through such maneuvers.

One of my favorite features is the adjustable seat back. This new seat design takes ergo lock to a whole new level. It’s super comfortable and holds you in place perfectly. You can also opt
to get a rear seat for when you want to ride two up.

Sea Doo continues to be innovative and has given us Intelligent Debris Free Pump System (iDF) on some models, such as the new 2021 Fish Pro.

If you are out fishing on your ski and suck up some
weeds, or debris and it chokes up your intake grate you simply shut
the engine off. Press the iDF button on the left handlebar and restart the engine. iDF has a gear driven transmission which will now reverse rotation of the impeller forcing water out of the pump inlet pushing out any debris. Ingenious!

I too was waiting to see the RXTs. Instead nothing at all except horrible color change. I was ready to call my dealer tomorrow. Instead will be looking over winter for a 2020 buyer that can't afford payments over the winter. So sad. I was SOOOO psych'd and nada...

What were you expecting? The RXT just went through a major redesign couple years ago. The models take turns refreshing, this was the RXP year.
