Do the carbs have an accelerator pump? I can't remember even though I have owned 787 and 951 sized engines. If so, check to see if they are delivering fuel on throttle opening.

The 787 motors didn't use accelerator pumps if I remember correctly. Try choking it as you accelerate, if it picks up you definitely have a fuel restriction, I'd go through the fuel system again including the carbs. Have you replaced the fuel lines? Also check the small internal carb filter for gunk.

no accelerator pumps.. everything is new ..Hoses ,fuel selector, filter + housing, carbs are spotless with new OEM kits tried a second set of carbs also, what i did find out Saturday was my rotory valve plate clearance is .033 . Checked it with led ..ordered a referbd cover plate and new rotary plate hopefully thats my issue.

if the engine had in excess of 250 hours, I'd lay even money that the RV valve was your issue

did you check for excess play in the rave valve slots?, excess slop in there tends to cause problems

getting the rotary valve times with the engine in place can be painful, get a big fat mirror and spotlight and check the final timing at least three times before bolting it all together

changed out rotary valve cover with a different one and a new RV ..still runs the same. im at a loss..

    hours on this engine?

did you check for slop in the rave blade slots?

next up is pressure testing the engine

Pop off? You need to choke it and see if that helps.

yeah, I would have said that but he's been thru two carb racks so far.... but hey, easier then pressure testing for sure

and if memory serves, the GTX used two different sized jets for the PTO/MAG carb sets

I donít know how the fuel pump is configured on this ski but my thought was fuel starvation too.
