    Thoughts on Bow Roller Position

    Hi All,

I have a Triton LT single trailer for my 2019 FXHO. I received the trailer (new) from my dealer already set up, but have never made any adjustments.

Was wondering about the positioning of the bow roller. When I pull it out of the water, and crank the winch, it pulls the wave runner up so the roller sits right underneath the first line in the hull. Seems like there is a fair amount of weight resting on top of the roller. Is this right? Can't find any documentation from triton that says how this should be set up. From the looks of it, I can move the winch up on the mast.

    Does this look right?

    Thanks in advance.

I run my bow roller right under the rub rail/nose piece. I think that it keeps the ski from pitching as much going down the road. I would also get rid of those hard blue rollers and gets some Stoltz brand rollers.

Loosen the winch and slide the whole winch tower back away from the ski. Adjust the bow roller so it sits in the same position on the hull where it’s shown now. What you are trying to achieve is for the weight of the ski to be on the bunks and the bow stop is just that. A stop to keep it from moving forward and no weight resting on top of it.

Thanks all -- appreciate the feedback. Will take Mr. GP1800's advice.
