This just sucks. I would run the engine on the hose with the upper deck off, searching for potential oil leaks. Read the Lubrication section of the manual and methodically look for leaks. The Rotary Seal / weep hole is often missed. It can be a simple O-ring that is missing, pinched, or dried out that can be a source. I have heard of others placing die in the oil and searching that way. Having a suspension ski only makes all of this that much harder.........

As easy as it would be to just clean it and button it up, I can’t do that to someone. That’s what was done to me. I’ll pull the intake manifold and clean it all up. Put a new oil cooler and replace anything else that looks like crap. She’s still a good ski, just been neglected all her life and I’ll get her right.

2012 Sea Doo RXt-X as Problems, new ski to me
Somehow your picture from post#20 is not showing up
Beside the suspected oil cooler the tell tale groove is visible on driveshaft at this picture. It should not.
Keep in mind when installing engine again.

No worries buddy! Oil cooler was definitely the part. The bottom two bolt brackets had corroded so bad that they were no longer holding the oil cooler against the block. One even broke as I was pulling the oil cooler back and the bolt stayed in the block. I’m guessing there wasn’t enough pressure against the block during high speed where the oil was flowing hard. Anyhow, I picked up a new cooler on eBay and I’m waiting for the o rings to get here. Also replacing the Intake Air Temp Sensor since it gave me a code 2 trips ago. Doing the intake manifold upgrade and pulling the flame arrestor out while it’s all apart. I douched out the manifold with hot water, blue dawn and some degreaser. Got quite a bit of oil out of there and gunk. Hope to have it all back together by the weekend.

Welp, looks like I got it all figured out and back to good. Replaced the oil cooler, added a Fizzle Gen X, Riva SCOM, Riva Power Filter Kit, Intake Manifold upgrade, Intake Manifold Girdle, replaced intake temp sensor, replaced exhaust gas temp sensor. All of this after I did the first attempt at fixing the oil leak which involved new driveshaft, new pto bearing/bellow, new wear ring, new carbon seal, Fox rebuilt shock, new spring, all new hardware for suspension bolts, added bilge pump, new trailer, new ibr seal, new pump seal, exhaust straight pipe to replace resonator, supercharger rebuilt, new oil/filter, new coolant, injectors serviced, new spark plugs. all gaskets/o-rings replaced on parts removed or serviced. Running out of stuff to do!
Took it out today and ran like a new ski. And I managed to keep all my oil inside the engine this time. Maybe now I can actually enjoy this thing for the first time in my 3 months of owning it.
