Polar Bear Plunge
6 years in a row now i have don the polar bear plunge at Rehoboth Beach, DE to benefit the special olympics. This year was actually comfortable. 48º air and 43º water. 2 years ago it was 29º air and 33º water.
was a good time. About 2000 jumpers, and raised around $400,000 for special olympics!

Looks like you had fun and for a good cause. I remeber one year doing a polar ride under the arch on new year day. Fell off a friends bike water temp was 33 and with a wet suit that was not for cold water it was the longest swim to the bike. Had a bad cold after that day, Mom gave me the third degree
