What is Carbon Seal “ Normal “ Wear?

Seadoo Rxtx 300 2019. I just wanted to share a few pics I took and wanted some expert input once again on what is considered Normal Carbon Seal Wear. My ski has 9 Hrs. Thanks guys.

Looks like normal...
If the dust was everywhere it would be a big misalignment problem.

Is it just me or does the alignment look way off? Driveshaft does seem to be on an angle to the engine and the hat does not look centered.

Hmmm, might just be the way I took the picture with my iPhone. Is there always a little dust from the Carbon seal? It does wear out after time obviously but does every single seadoo put out some sort of seal dust right away?

It appears out of alignment to me too! Only one way to know for sure.

Meaning I would have to take it in to the dealer and pay for the verification. And if it’s not aligned then the dealer is responsible? What type of a job is it to check it out, cost?

I've seen 3 x 300 machines misaligned from factory, 1 of them had 4 shims too many on it. I personally had 2 machines also misaligned from factory. Seadoo should be responsible if its still on warranty..

On a side note for instance, if my ski was perfectly aligned , would there still be a carbon line? Has there ever been a Sea-Doo with no carbon line at all?

I'm up to over 70 hrs. on my RXT and I have a carbon line on mine also. It doesn't look excessive though.
