    New IBR actuator calibration?

I'm installing a new IBR actuator on a 2015 GTI. The old one moves, but throws fault codes, and locks up. The manual says that a new IBR actuator will need to be calibrated by connecting BUDS and clicking the "read data" button then "the IBE actuator calibration will be applied automatically". Can this be done with a CanDoo? My candoo had the option to lock or unlock the IBR, or to move it up or down? Do I need to find someone with BUDS to make the IBR start working?

I can connect the bad IBR and make it go up and down in bypass mode, but the new IBR won't move.

    Thanks

How long does it take BUDS to do this? Is it a 30 second process, or 30 minutes? Wondering how much hassle the dealership will give me if I ask them to do it while I wait. Or if they will want me to leave it.

    Thanks

1-3 minutes that includes plugging in etc , expect to pay them 1/3 to 1 hour for the service or ship me the ibr and Iíll do it for you either way you gonna pay but figure locally is faster for you .
